Renewable obligation certificates (ROCs) incentive scheme
Renewable Obligation Certificates are awarded by OFGEM to encourage the use of renewable energy sources by companies generating their own electricity for heat and power.
As our CHP Biofuel is made from waste oil using bioethanol, it meets OFGEM’s strict requirements for ROCs eligibility and has been approved on other CHP installations. We will supply a letter confirming the provenance of the raw materials, which you will need to submit to OFGEM to support your ROCs application.
For more information on CHP Biofuel and ROCs eligibility, speak to our CHP biofuel experts here at Nationwide Fuels by calling us on 0330 678 0880. You can also request a quote and place an order.
Please note: each individual site generating power or CHP must be registered and approved by OGEM for the ROCs certificate to be awarded. This is an auditing process that will involve inspection and certification of your plant.
If your power generation plan is already certified, it’s a relatively simple process to achieve approval from OFGEM on our CHP Biofuel as a replacement for your current.
